🎓 Congratulations, Senior!

This is such an exciting time in your life, and I’m so glad you’re here. Senior photos should feel real—not stiff or staged. Maybe your vibe is traditional and understated, or maybe it’s more unique, bold and creative. Maybe it’s somewhere in between. Either way, together we’ll create a session that reflects your personality, style, and passions-in the most authentic way possible.

My goal is to help make this a relaxed, FUN experience. No forced smiles, no awkward poses — just you, feeling comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

🎯 Personalize Your Session

Do you want to show the world who you are? Love a certain sport, activity, or aesthetic? Maybe you’re into art, robotics, activism, collecting sneakers, music, swimming, chess, cars, films, aviation, gaming, guitars, hiking, hats, cars, gardening? Whatever makes you you — we can probably incorporate it! Maybe you want to showcase the college you’re attending, or express your hopes, dreams, and plans for the future.

Props can be a great way to make your session more personal and help ease those “what do I do with my hands?” moments. This could be a favorite jacket, scarf, or hat. It could be a portable stool or chair you bring to your session, or some type of interesting seating like a wooden pallet. Even a single flower or a scarf can add interest and style to your photos. Remember that we will take many photos - so props and other items of interest can be used for just a few of your images. We will be walking around together at your location of choice, so you’ll get a variety of settings and backgrounds in your photos.

Not sure what you want to do? No stress — we’ll brainstorm together.

👕 What to Wear

Wear clothes you love and feel good in. You’ll have time to change your outfit and accessories during your session, so bring a second look if you'd like variety.

A few quick tips:

  • Choose colors that flatter your skin tone

  • Avoid neon - it can reflect its own color into the subject’s face, which can’t be photoshopped later!

  • Skip heavy, glittery makeup - it tends not to photograph well.

  • Layers and accessories (like hats, scarves, or jewelry) can add depth, interest, and style

💇 Prep Tips

  • Get haircuts a week before your shoot, so it has time to settle. Tamper down flyaway hairs with a hair product before arriving to your session

  • Avoid sunscreen the day of your session — some leave a white cast in photos

  • If you're tanning, do it a couple days in advance

  • Bring a small mirror, blotting papers, and powder if your skin tends to get shiny

  • A quick touch-up kit (hairbrush, hairspray, makeup, lip balm, etc.) is always smart

📸 Relax & Have Fun

This isn’t a high-pressure photo shoot. It’s a chance to celebrate who you are right now. Bring someone supportive who makes you feel comfortable, and let me know if something feels awkward. Don’t be afraid to speak up — we’re in this together!

Sessions are designed to be relaxed, and collaborative-and tailored to make you feel like your best, most true self. You don’t need to know how to pose - I’ll guide you the whole way. All you need to do is show up, be you, and trust the process.

Can’t wait to create something amazing together.
